Dennis has worked as a Police Chaplain with the law enforcement officers in Crittenden County, Arkansas, and their families. This involved 125 officers and their families. Chaplains also do victim's services.

Dennis has worked with Centurions for Christ:

Dennis was been blessed to be a part of the organization known as Centurions for Christ. Several years ago two Christian law enforcement officers put their heads and hearts together to create a fellowship among law enforcement officers who want to live their faith on the job. Their model was the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Centurions for Christ cuts across denominational lines and allows the officers to minister to each other and those they come in contact with in their work.

Dennis was named Preston Road Center for Christian Education's "Alumnus of the Year" in 1992.

Dennis wrote music for, performed and recorded with the contemporary Christian a cappella group, Arise. The music Arise sings is designed to encourage young Christians in their walk with God, and to introduce non-believers to the Gospel in a relevant way. (1988 to present)
